Welcome to RTRCA dynamic technical vocational training & education center with programs to advance youth employment, access to decent work, entrepreneurship and lifelong learning opportunities.
Our Campus
The campus houses a fully-furnished students’ residence, classrooms for theories, computer lab, training workshops for practicals, an agricultural demonstration farm, administration buildings, and a library that provides outreach services to neighbouring communities including; book club, art sessions, storytelling sessions, spelling bee & many more.

Learn by Doing
Our coursework is based on Experiential Learning, or learning by doing. Students are able to quickly apply what they have learned in the classroom – 80% of their time is spent in workshops for practical training.
Results
A by-product of students gaining immediate practical experience is the availability of products (produce, fashion & design, carpentry, etc.) and services (hair & beauty, ploughing, water delivery, etc.) to the general public.

From Our Principal
Welcome to Rarieda Training and Resource Centre (RTRC), a community-driven institution dedicated to transforming lives through quality technical and vocational education and training. RTRC is founded on the commitment to equip young people and community members with practical, market-relevant skills that enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods. Our approach is learner-centred, inclusive, and responsive to the socio-economic needs of the region.
At RTRC, we place strong emphasis on competency-based education and training, hands-on learning, and innovation. Our programmes are delivered by qualified and experienced instructors, supported by appropriate training facilities and strong linkages with industry and development partners. In addition, RTRC hosts a fully functional Business Solution Centre (BSC), which provides business development services, mentorship, and enterprise support to trainees, alumni, and community entrepreneurs, enabling them to translate skills into viable and sustainable ventures.
We are equally committed to holistic youth development and community service learning. Beyond technical skills, RTRC intentionally nurtures leadership, work ethics, civic responsibility, and life skills through structured mentorship programmes and community-based learning initiatives. By engaging learners in meaningful community service, we foster a culture of social responsibility while addressing real community challenges.
